Success to me is being happy with what you are doing. I am happy with what I do and what I have in store to come. I am blessed. There was times I wanted to end my life. Writing and reading soothes me. But, yes I doubted myself because I wasn’t making the six figures from writing other authors bragged about. I still don’t. But, I don’t write for money. I write because I truly enjoy it.Read More
The anger from abuse is a natural process and something I believe needs to happen but i never saw anyone move passed that and that's what i really wanted to show with my blog. You can actually move passed that stage.Read More
It’s never too late to start over or to do better. If you get nothing else out of this open letter, I hope you come to the understanding that you can build anything from nothing. All the cards can be stacked up against you and it is possible to come out on top. The struggle may last longer than you’d like, but the beauty is if doesn’t have to last.Read More
The best advice I can give to other entrepreneurs is to be encouraged and be proud of yourself first. You are where it all begins. Work through the struggle, work through the doubters and those saying that you cannot do it, work through the pain, work through the joy, work when you feel like you've done enough. It's easier said than done but all the work will pay off in the end.Read More
I had dreams of being a rock star when I was young, but I don’t think I’d want that crazy life. If I wasn’t an author, I’d like to be known as a musical and theatrical playwright. If I had to pick a more “normal” career, I suppose I would do alright as a teacher – maybe a mythology teacher who rambles a lot.Read More
Don't do this if you aren't ready to give every breathe to it, you don't get famous over night and you don't get rich the next day. Your business is your foundation and you don't get to the top without starting from the bottom.Read More
The most recent release was the first of my adult trilogy KENCO, Book One, which is Kenco: The Goddaughter. It involves a lot of crime, death, sex and erotica, and involves the criminal lifestyle of a girl called Kenco Diamond, who lives a double life. She is a college girl loved by everyone she knows including her family, friends and more, but she is also a deadly criminal whose reputation is terrifying. Her family have no clue, and she intended to keep it that way for good, but her two worlds clash, resulting in the death of a family member and more.Read More
A lot of authors sometimes write about the same story with a different title, but in reality, you have to write something that stands out more than other books written by other authors. That is the biggest challenge. Once a reader is hooked on your book, you have to keep writing great books to keep their attention. If you are going to write sequels or part two to a book, you must be consistent.
The characters are lovable and relatable and trust me you will find yourself picking a side to root for! This book explores some controversial issues like religion, which gives it a lot more depth than your typical young adult/fantasy novel. Tammy has a knack for painting emotions in a way that will pull on your heart strings. You can expect to shed a tear or two.Read More
Persistence, patience and determination. Many times people come to me with big dreams, but I can tell they lack one of the three. Without them, it’s very difficult to move from Step 1 to Step 2, 3 and 4. There are so many great ideas that never got executed because the dreamer lacked patience, persistence or determination. I can’t stand starting a journey with someone only for them to falter after hitting the first road block. In order to make it, we must have patience, persistence and determination.Read More
Safety is something that truly scares me. My greatest fear is realizing that I chose not to do something I was entirely capable of doing. So I guess my advice would be to go for it. Ignore the possibility of failure. Keep your eye on the prize. Take risks. I truly believe that every single person is made of greatness. It’s inside us. It’s inherent. We just have to step out of our comfort zone and claim it… And now I totally sound like a fortune cookie. Next question?Read More
A few, which I hope some readers will discern. I want the readers to consider the grand construction of our lives and societies, the chase after the dollar, what's meaningful and what's - not. At that, I leave the conclusions to the readers and not preaching any specific direction.
